Cassie Florido PHotography

I am an entertainment photographer based in the Midwest. I was first introduced to photography in high school through journalism classes. From then on, I fell in love with taking pictures of anything and everything.

My love for attending concerts made my interest in live music photography blossom.

Many of the older photographs featured on this site were taken from the crowd. Sneaking my camera into the crowd was my main method of shooting concerts. Grinding it out in the pit, instead of the photo pit, gave me a great appreciation for concert photography.

Recently, I worked as a house photographer intern at The Blue Note in Columbia, MO. I was able to photograph artists such as SOMO and Kacey Musgraves.

In October of 2016, I was able to work with Neck Deep for one date on the Made to Destroy Tour in Kansas City.

I am currently a journalism student at the University of Missouri. I am studying emerging media in the j-school and hope to continue to learn new techniques to improve my photography and video work.
